Lama Tashi

Dear friend,

A year ago, you joined us in person for Path of Liberation 1 & 2 (29 August–1 September 2025). Four days of practice, study, and shared aspiration that many of us still carry with us. To mark that anniversary, we’d love to bring our group back together.

We are honoured to invite you to an intimate online reunion with Lama Tashi, offered exclusively to those of you who were with us in person for POL 1 & 2. We could have opened this more widely, but we wanted to keep it for our own — a one-year follow-up for the people who walked that path together.

As you will remember, Lama Tashi teaches in the truest practice-lineage style: direct, unpretentious, and deeply rooted in experience. He has given his life in service to Mingyur Rinpoche and his father’s lineage — Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and Tsoknyi Rinpoche among them. His connection to Rinpoche began with a moment of supreme merit: he met Mingyur Rinpoche entirely by chance at the Boudhanath Stupa, while Rinpoche was on wandering retreat and had slipped down incognito for supplies. After some persuasion, Lama Tashi was given the almost unbelievable good fortune of being allowed to join the wandering retreat — and went on to spend years, first with Rinpoche and later alone, completing a rare form of retreat. That lived realisation is what he brings to his teaching.

Across two afternoons, he will lead us through refuge and bodhicitta, the Four Thoughts That Turn the Mind, and the purification practice of Vajrasattva, returning to the meditation instructions of POL 1 & 2, with practice and Q&A throughout.
